Living in SG Palya
SG Palya is the residential pocket that sits directly behind CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Central Campus, off Hosur Road. It is effectively the university's hostel district — narrow residential lanes packed with PGs, hostels, mess kitchens, photocopy shops and tea stalls that exist almost entirely for Christ students. The back gate on SG Palya Main Road, past Srinivasa Theatre, is what most students actually use to enter campus, which is why walking distance here is measured in metres rather than kilometres.

Getting around
Walkable to Christ Central Campus back gate. BMTC buses run on Hosur Road and Dairy Circle. Nearest Namma Metro is currently a rickshaw ride away; most students simply walk or use autos costing ₹40-60 to Koramangala. Ola and Uber pickups are easy on SG Palya Main Road.
