01How to find the right accommodation?
If your child is taking up a course at Christ University then you should book their accommodation sooner rather than later. There are several PGs in the SG Palya area ranging from cheapest to the most expensive ones.
When choosing a place, you need to balance budget and comfort as this directly impacts their studies. Cheapest options often lack hygiene and services, while overly expensive ones promise luxury but strain your finances.
We stand in the middle — offering reasonable pricing and a safe, well-managed environment designed to support your child’s academic success.
02Student Accommodation Viewing
The hostel reception is open from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM. During these hours, you can drop in without an appointment for a tour. Our staff will be happy to show you around and answer any questions.
If you are visiting Christ University for admissions, consider staying overnight to explore options. We are tied up with Hotel Paramos Inn (with in-house restaurant Hot Griddle) and can arrange good prices for you.
03International Students
Sending children abroad can be daunting, especially without local guardians. Rest assured, we have hosted hundreds of international students at Christ University. Our modern, purpose-built accommodations provide a safe, welcoming base for their studies.
04Signing Up
The academic year runs from June to May. Accommodation is for a minimum of 1 year. A deposit of two months’ rent is required, adjusted against the final two months before leaving. Rent can be paid via cash, bank transfer, debit card, Paytm, etc.
To register, fill out the application form, submit documents, and pay the advance deposit. Once done, we will allocate and prepare the room for your child’s arrival.
05Packing List
It’s natural to over-pack, but many items go unused. Essentials include:
- Bedsheets, pillow covers
- Towels
- Basic cutlery
Add personal touches like a family photo or a small plant to create a homely feeling in their room.
06Move In Day
Move-in day is emotional for both parents and students — a mix of nerves and excitement. Our helpers and coordinators ensure the process is smooth.
